This morning I received a Tweet on Twitter (X) congratulating me on being nominated for a 2024 Good Furry Award. I opened the link and read the nomination statement for the name Shutter under the Good Egg Award, under a first-name only basis. Whoops.
The nomination statement makes a few reference to the characteristics, such as being a photographer, uploading photos for events for free, and properly credits and tags the furs. That’s about where the similarities end.
Then comes the mentions about Ohio events. I haven’t been to Ohio.
Just to let you know, the Ask Papabear Good Furry Nomination is not me. That’s for another Shutter, which I believe is likely BearDogShutter on Twitter.
Trust me, I haven’t won, much less have been nominated for any awards in my 11 years in the fandom that I know of.
