On October 6, 2014, a new wolf emerges into the social media and website. A wolf who loves to howl and take photographs. Photography was his favorite hobby. He would be called Shutter Wolf.
Those ten years has been a mix of joy, celebrations, and friendships, with sadness, troubles, falling outs, and regrets.
I’ve had fun at furmeets and conventions. I’ve also had to overcome personal issues that would strip the fun and joy of my time at conventions and furmeets.
My original character color was brown until March 2021when I switched to gray. That seems more fitting as I become older and grayer.
I also grew more dissatisfied with my original (version 1) brown fursuit. Not many people found it appealing, much less for photography. I was often left out of photos and excluded from participating in activities. At that point I stopped fursuiting and boxed up my suit for good.
I don’t intend to get a version 2 fursuit. I feel the joy and magic in the furry fandom is waning. It probably doesn’t help that I’m getting older.
Will I stick around for another 10 years? I’m not getting any younger, so only time will tell.
