Hurricane Milton is gaining strength in the Gulf of Mexico and it’s path, according to the National Hurricane Center, is forecast to make landfall on the Gulf Coast of Florida late Wednesday as a dangerous major hurricane.
Milton is currently rated a Category 5 with its current sustained wind speeds at 160 mph as of Tuesday night. With the strong wind comes the dangers of flying debris and extreme storm surges.
The first and foremost priority for everyone is to be safe. My friends and everyone that are in the path of the hurricane, please heed to the advice and orders of the federal, state, and local authorities. if you are ordered to evacuate, please evacuate.
