Hey all, it’s been a long while since I posted anything on my site. You might have noticed my social media has been a little quieter than usual, too. The thing is, I’ve been quite busy with both Get Out The Float 2025 and with my day job.
Get Out The Float was fantastic and fun from both a volunteer and attendee standpoint. The wintry weather was a bit of a havoc at first, but the sun shined on the fursuit parade.
The turnout was fantastic, too. 249 attendees (149 in 2024), 106 fursuiters in the parade (53 in 2024), and $4,059.00 (2,350.16 in 2024) raised for the Sunset Empire Parks & Recreation Foundation.
My big thank you to the staff and volunteers of Get Out The Float for a smooth con, especially Roady’s Ramen and Keegan’s Kitchen for keeping us well-fooded in the hospitality suite. Also, much thanks to the absolutely fantastic staff of Seaside Civic & Convention Center, Inn at Seaside, and Sunset Empire Parks & Recreation District.
I plan to return for GOTF 2026!
