Well friends and followers, Get Out The Float just dropped some news Saturday night that made me feel like I landed a bellyflop onto the water from a high-diving board: Get Out The Float 2027 has been postponed to 2028.
I’m currently a volunteer staff member of Get Out The Float. I felt disappointed that the 2027 convention was postponed to 2028, because I was looking forward to the event this coming February. I also felt relieved, because it does offer us more time to prepare for the convention. I understand that there are several factors that play a key pole in the postponement, but I’m not going to go into that right now, including the ongoing lawsuit (the legal defense GoFundMe fundraising is ongoing).
Get Out The Float 2028 is scheduled to be in Seaside, Oregon, on February 3-6, 2028.
