For those of you who may have been following Taebyn Pup on some social media platforms, you might have heard “equipment specifications” randomly pop up in a thread or timeline. How did this come to be?
It all started at Get Out The Float 2022. Taebyn is hosting a Taebyn Reads panel. The panel is Taebyn reading some oddball short story books like “Super Torta.” “A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo,” and “Politically Correct Bedtime Stories.”
The moment Taebyn picks up a sheet of paper to read some notes quietly, I pull out my smart phone and snap a photo of Taebyn reading a sheet of paper.
On the back side of that sheet is a bold title “Equipment Specifications” with a chart of items and statistics.
I then quietly post the image to my Twitter with the caption: “Taebyn Reads Equipment Specifications,” and tagging to Taebyn’s Twitter handle.
Later, Taebyn even references to my “Equipment Specifications” Tweet at the closing ceremony.
Sad to say, however, my Tweet was deleted when I rebooted my Twitter in 2023.
It’s the small, quirky things that can make the best memories.
