Get Out The Float’s (GOTF) fundraiser to purchase their own bouncy castles is floating along to reaching their goal of $4,000. The reasons GOTF is buying their own equipment are for cost savings from having to rent bouncy castles, and ensuring that their own equipment is properly maintained and ready to go for the convention.
GOTF says in their GoFundMe fundraising description, “One of the biggest things inflating the registration prices of Get Out The Float year after year is the cost of bouncy castle rentals for our convention.”
Another point GOTF states, “It is no longer worth it to us rely on bouncy castle rental companies to have their castles be ready to use.”
This point is on with the rental company delivering and setting up the bouncy castles in either with defects or in unsanitary conditions. In some cases, the equipment is taken out of service and returned.
